Scout Interiors was named for Scout Finch from To Kill a Mockingbird: curious, independent, and never afraid to see the world differently. She's feisty, honest, and the kind of gal who isn't afraid to kick up a little dust in an otherwise fancy world.
We've always connected with that spirit — it reminds us to stay authentic while designing spaces that are beautiful, functional & deeply curated.
The Studio
Hi - I’m Lauren.
PRINCIPAL DESIGNER + FOUNDER OF SCOUT INTERIORS
I grew up in Boulder, CO in a home where creativity was simply a way of life. It was filled with art, music, travel, humor, and people who loved to gather. Our house was never the fanciest, but it had soul — and everyone who walked through the door could feel it.
That's where I first learned that beautiful furniture, lighting, and materials are only part of the story. It's the people who live there, the memories they create, and the feeling a space leaves behind that make it meaningful. That perspective continues to guide my work today.
My curiosity grew while studying art, design, communications, and Spanish at New York University. I immersed myself in every creative experience I could find — from glassblowing in Brooklyn and silkscreening in the East Village to painting in a SoHo loft, studying set design for theater and film, and learning to hand-draft blueprints on The Bowery. The city itself became my classroom, where art, architecture, literature, design, and craftsmanship came together in a way that forever shaped how I see the world, and curiosity has never left.
Scout's design philosophy was born from combining the soul and warmth of home with creativity and elevated design to create commercial and residential spaces that are as beautiful as they are livable.
Today, I find inspiration through travel and exploration. Life with my husband and our two boys keeps me busy and laughing often. I love surrounding myself with inspired and authentic people—friends and strangers alike. On a dream day outside of the studio you might find me drinking margs by the pool, wandering through art galleries and museums, hunting for vintage treasures, enjoying delicious food in beautiful spaces, snowboarding or walking in the woods (something I hope to do even more of).
I lead Scout with the belief that the best design begins with connection — to people, to place, and to feeling. Every project is an opportunity to create spaces that are thoughtfully layered, deeply personal, and designed to bring people together.
I'd love to hear your story.
XO, Lauren
Our Team
Morghan Miller
Howdy, I'm Morghan Miller. I've been creating thoughtfully designed spaces since 2017, beginning my career in high-end residential design with Chandler Prewitt Designs in Santa Fe, NM.
Today, as an Interior Designer and Project Manager at Scout Interiors, I blend creative vision with meticulous organization, ensuring every project is both beautifully designed and seamlessly executed. With a background in project management and textile production, I bring a balanced approach to each project — combining an eye for detail with a deep understanding of the design and construction process. I believe the best interiors are equal parts functional and inspiring, reflecting the people who live in them while supporting the way they experience everyday life.
Outside the studio, I draw inspiration from the places and experiences that shape my perspective. Whether I'm spending time with family, traveling locally and abroad or renovating our Mid-Century ranch, I'm always collecting ideas that inform my work. Home is in Wheat Ridge, where I live with my husband, son, and our wonderfully chaotic crew of four-legged companions.

INTERIOR DESIGNER + Marketing StrategistSivan Fernandez
Hello! I’m Sivan Fernandez. While I’m relatively new to the professional world of interior design, I’m no stranger to obsessing over it.
I’m drawn to creating lived-in spaces that balance beauty, function, and the way people actually live. I also bring more than 15 years of experience in marketing, communications, operations, and project management to Scout. This background allows me to pair creativity with strategy—translating ideas into clear plans, managing the details, and helping each project move seamlessly from concept to completion.
My own home is an ever-evolving collection of antique finds, meaningful objects, and pieces I simply couldn’t leave behind—fueling my love for interiors that feel layered, storied, and a little unexpected. I live in Denver’s Sunnyside neighborhood with my fiancé and our dog, Fitz. Outside of work, you’ll likely find me sipping wine on the roof deck, disappearing down a vintage furniture rabbit hole, or flipping through Harper’s Bazaar in search of inspiration far beyond the world of interiors.
